Our Story

​The story behind Healing Stories

Over the years as a video content creator, I came to understand something deeply:

Storytelling is not just a tool, it’s a lifeline.

My journey began when I was invited to speak on SBS Radio about a photographic exhibition I had developed in collaboration with Multicultural Arts Victoria and the United Nations. I thought I was there to discuss art, culture, and collaboration.

But during the interview, I was asked one simple question:

“Why do you live here in Melbourne?”

Until that moment, I had lived in Australia for sixteen years, but I had never shared the reasons why.

And suddenly, I found myself speaking my truth, openly and vulnerably.

An hour later, I walked into Federation Square and looked up at the skyline.

And for the first time in over a decade, I felt at home.

That moment changed everything.It showed me the healing power of storytelling, and the importance of making space for others to feel heard, seen, and understood.
